Privacy Policy
JetsWest Inc., doing business as Jets West ("Jets West," "we," "us"), is an aircraft brokerage. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to gojetswest.com, our valuation request form, our phone line and our automated phone assistant, Riley, and our email and text messages.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a valuation or a callback, we collect your name, phone number, email address, aircraft make, model, and tail number, and anything else you tell us, such as the best time to reach you.
- Phone calls. When you call us or speak with Riley, our automated phone assistant, we collect what you say, your phone number, and the details you give. Calls handled by Riley are transcribed and recorded so our broker has your details. Riley tells you at the start that it is an automated assistant.
- Public aircraft records. We use aircraft registration information the FAA publishes (owner name, address, aircraft, and tail number) to invite owners who may be interested in selling or buying to contact us.
- Website and device data. Like most websites, we and our service providers receive technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit, through cookies and similar tools.
- Your messages. If you email us or reply to a text, we keep that message.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your valuation request and to call, text, or email you as you asked.
- To value, market, buy, sell, or finance aircraft, and to connect owners with qualified buyers.
- To keep a record of your consent and your contact preferences.
- To run, secure, and improve our website, phone line, and services.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Calls, texts, and email
- You decide whether we may call you with Riley, our automated assistant, and whether we may text and email you. These are separate, optional checkboxes on our valuation request form. Agreeing is never required to receive a valuation or to buy or sell anything.
- Text messages: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Calls: tell Riley or Jets West to "stop," or email info@jetswestinc.com, and we will stop calling you.
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone for marketing.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us run our business and may use it only for that purpose. These include providers of our customer-management system, phone and messaging, automated phone assistant and voice technology, email, website hosting and analytics, and professional advisors. We may also share information if the law requires it, or in a business sale or reorganization. When we connect an aircraft owner with a buyer, we share only what the owner has agreed to share.
5. How long we keep it
We keep records of your consent and your contact preferences for at least four years. We keep other information as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 7), except where we are required to keep a record.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We never ask for bank, card, or government ID numbers on calls or on our forms.
7. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of calls, texts, or email: say "stop," reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or email info@jetswestinc.com.
- Access, correct, or delete your information: email info@jetswestinc.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information. We do not sell your information. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work without them.
8. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
